Cuba Is Expected to Receive Four Million International Tourists
Monday, November 12, 2018

Havana.- Cuba is expected to receive four million international tourists by mid-November, with options to add 750,000 at the end of 2018.

Industry authorities stressed that the expansion strategy includes the completion this year of 5,000 rooms to accommodate holidaymakers.

In that regard, they mentioned the hotels Packard in the Cuban capital and Internacional de Varadero, in the country's major coastal resort.

In conjunction with this, 5,250 rooms are scheduled for completion in 2019, while the construction of a five-star hotel in Cayo Largo is being prepared.

As part of the development of the tourism industry, the acquisition of some 8,000 new cars for tourist rental services is negotiated.
