Newborn Care Methods Evaluated in Cuba |

Havana.- Specialists from the central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus exchanged experiences on methods for comprehensive care of newborns.
The debate focused on 12 presentations by experts from the Italian Hospital of La Plata and the Municipal Hospital of Bragado, both in Argentina.
The professionals referred to different medical procedures, complementary tests and the use of diagnostic means.
Among the topics highlighted were practical elements of gasometry, the importance of radiology in newborns, ventilation to newborns and other procedures.
Coupled with this, participants in the meeting also debated the integrated management of the extreme premature babies at the delivery rooms, as part of an initiative that was extended to experts from other provinces.
