New Business Opportunities in Cuban economy |

Havana.- The 2018-2018 Portfolio of Opportunities, aimed at promoting investments and businesses in the Cuban economy, contains 525 projects.
According to experts, the estimated sum of investment exceeds 11.6 billion dollars, with 45 of options in the Mariel Special Development Zone (ZEDM, in Spanish).
In addition, another 108 projects correspond to the agri-food sector and there is an active participation of the provinces in the promotion of exports, the substitution of imports and the attraction of foreign investment.
So far, eight businesses in the field of renewable sources, four solar parks, three wind farms and a joint venture for the use of bioelectric energy, have been authorized.
Meanwhile, in tourism, 95 contracts were approved with the presence of 21 foreign managers in the administration of hotels.
