Cuban Photographers Win Underwater Photo Contest |

Havana.- The Cuban representatives won several prizes in the main categories of the underwater photo contest PHOTOSUB-2018, held in the central city of Cienfuegos.
The event was attended by three dozen representatives from seven nations and the Grand Award went to the Cuban photographer Manuel Carmenate.
Indeed, Carmenate won medals in all categories of the contest, including Macro, Fauna, Environment and Environment with model, in which only one photo could be submitted to the jury.
Participants made five dives, four of them to take photos, and all of them lasted a little over one hour, depending on the amount of oxygen available and the preparation of the specialists.
The 2019 edition of PHOTOSUB will be held again in the vicinity of Rancho Luna beach, in Cienfuegos, with the welcome and guidance of the Faro Luna international diving center.
