Havana.- The eastern Cuban province of Holguin shows a favorable results in terms of children's health indicators.

Experts from the sector pointed out that the towns of Gibara, Antilla, Calixto Garcia, Frank Pais and Urbano Noris have achieved that result.

In addition, the province has reported zero maternal deaths, which is evidence of the integration between primary and hospital care to improve the quality of life of mothers and children.

Coupled with this, the number of caesarean sections has decreased and investments in the Rafael Freyre and Sagua de Tanamo hospitals have increased.
