Cuban Baseball Players Signed by Foreign Leagues

Havana.- Several Cuban baseball players have performed well in leagues in Canada, Japan, Italy and Mexico.

In the case of the Can-Am League, Yordan Manduley, who plays with the Capitals of Quebec, was the leader of batters in the qualifying stage, during which he hit 14 doubles, one triple and four home runs with 37 RBIs, and was a key piece in a team that finished in second place with 58 victories 44 losses, five and a half games behind the Sussex County Miners.

In Japan, Yurisbel Gracial, of the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, has four home runs and 16 RBIs, while Alfredo Despaigne has 25 full-back and 62 RBI connections, and is the second in the team.

Meanwhile, the pitcher Erly Casanova has been one of the main figures of Parma, because in the qualifying stage, he finished with 8-2 and excellent effectiveness of 1.87, with 105 strikeouts in 82 innings.
