Passengers Traffic Grows in Dominican Airports |

Santo Domingo.- Airports in the Dominican Republic reported a 4.8-percent growth in passengers traffic in the first seven months of 2018.
Statistics from the Civil Aviation Board show that from January to July, the airports handled over nine million passengers, including 1,445,104 passengers in July alone.
This figure represents a historic record for passengers traffic in a month, surpassing the previous mark in March this year.
Of the seven airports in the Dominican Republic that have reported commercial international operations, Punta Cana has concentrated 55.91 percent, with 5,034,021 of the total passengers.
In addition, at the end of July, 64,718 air operations were reported, of which 32,375 corresponded to landings and 32,343 to takeoffs.
