Economic Contribution of Tourism in Turkey Grows |

Istanbul.- Turkey's tourism sector reported revenues of nearly 6.017 billion euros in the second quarter of 2018.
The Statistical Institute reported that this result represents a growth of 30 percent compared to the same period last year.
It added that 84.7 percent of the income comes from expenditures by foreign tourists, especially holidaymakers from Russia, Germany and the United Kingdom.
According to statistics, in the first half of this year, 11 million tourists visited this Eurasian country.
This trend represents a recovery after the adverse effects generated by the attempted coup in July 2016.
