Experts Predict Substantial Increase in Demand for New Aircraft
Monday, July 23, 2018

New York. - The US aeronautical manufacturer Boeing estimated in 42,730 units the world demand for new airplanes in the next two decades.

According to the company, during that period0, 44 percent of planes will be used to replace the oldest aircraft, with a greater growth in the segment of single-aisle models.

Additionally, this expansion will be reflected in higher service requirements, with a market value of around 15 billion dollars.

The wide-body segment will need 8,070 new planes, valued at nearly 2.5 billion dollars in the next 20 years.

Boeing also considered the importance of manufacturing at least 980 wide-body freighters during the period, 60 aircraft more than last year's estimates.
