United Airlines and Embraer Sign Major Agreement |

New York.- United Airlines finalized a purchase agreement with the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer for an amount of 1.1 billion dollars.
The airline ordered 25 units of E-175 model that will be delivered in the second quarter of 2019.
Embraer is the world's third largest aircraft manufacturer and a leader in regional aviation regarding commercial aircraft of up to 150 seats.
United Airlines also penned an agreement with Boeing to create a company in the sector of commercial aviation worth 4.75 billion dollars.
By virtue of this agreement, Boeing's presence in foreign markets will be expanded and will counteract the association between the Canadian company Bombardier and the European aeronautical manufacturer Airbus.
