Cuban Products for the Tourism Sector |

Havana.- The Cuban company Frutas Selectas has, among its goals, to supply of a wide range of agricultural products to the national tourist market.
The firm promotes hiring specialized producers in the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, viands and grains, with a view to reducing imports.
The farmers incorporated into this project receive basic supplies available through the Logistics Business Group of the Ministry of Agriculture (Gelma).
The incorporation of mountain agricultural sites into the production of vegetables and root vegetables is another of the strategies implemented by the company with a view to supplying tourism and the population.
It should be mentioned that these areas have a cool climate and fertile soils, suitable to plant tomato, cabbage, water melon, lettuce, chard, pepper, onion, carrot and beet.
