Tourist Arrivals Are Expected to Increase in Spain |

Madrid.- The Spanish tourism sector expects the arrival of 30.4 million foreign visitors between July and September, accounting for an interannual increase of 2.3 percent.
Together with this, authorities consider that tourist expenditures could exceed 34 billion euros, which means an estimated growth of more than 4.1 percent.
Experts recalled that Spain is the second most visited country in the world (even ahead of the United States) and the first in tourism competitiveness.
As part of the government's actions, the Smart Tourist Destinations Network was created and will begin operating in September.
In addition, relevant issues will be analyzed, including the regulation of tourist housing and the improvement of working conditions for workers in the sector.
