Monday, July 9, 2018
Havana.- The hotel La Gran Piedra, in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, stands out for its relationship with nature and the experience accumulated in 57 years of operations.
Managed by the Islazul group, the establishment offers historic and patrimonial attractions such as the La Isabelica Coffee Museum.
The center was designated a World Heritage site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) due to the Archaeological Landscape of the first coffee plantations in southeastern Cuba.
The two-star hotel offers 27 rooms in cabins and bungalows, a cafeteria, bar and restaurant, as well as a business center.
One of the main attractions for visitors is to climb the 452 steps leading to the huge rock called La Gran Piedra (The Big Stone), from where they can enjoy a panoramic view of the landscape.
