Yutong Group Present in Cuban Market
Monday, June 25, 2018

Havana.- The Chinese company Yutong, specialized in the manufacture of buses, is evaluating new projects to consolidate its position in the Cuban market.

Representatives of the company pointed out that new contracts and joint agreements with Cuban partners are being negotiated, which should take place this year.

So far, there are more than 8,000 Yutong vehicles running in Cuba, a number that will increase thanks to agreements with the national tourism companies Transtur and Transgaviota.

The Yutong buses have been circulating in the country since 2005, making Cuba the first country in Latin America to import these vehicles from China.

Additionally, the Chinese firm has a warehouse in Cuba where more than 50,000 different spare parts are kept to meet any eventualities.
