Havana.- The Cuban agricultural sector encourages the introduction of advanced technology in order to guarantee the benefit of its productions in the country.
In this direction, the assembly of a Chinese manufacturing plant to improve rice stands out in the Artemisa-based Empresa Agroindustrial de Granos, in western Cuba.
Executives from the sector pointed out that this project contemplates a system of benefit, classification and chemical treatment to process eight tons of rice per hour.
Moreover, on that same territory, work is being done on the install a hopper, a grain elevator and two silos to boost rice production.
The project also includes the repair of the dryer, which was tested under vacuum conditions and will be tested with a load, while in late 2017 three polishing cones were replaced with five cones equipped with different technology.
