Cuban Men's Volleyball Team to Seek Title in Barranquilla
Monday, June 25, 2018

Havana.- The Cuban men's volleyball will seek to retain the gold medal in the next edition of the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Similar objective are pursued by the women's team, as well as the men's and women's beach volleyball teams, taking into account the rivals to face and the training made.

The president of the Cuban Volleyball Federation, Ariel Saínz, assured that conditions exist to achieve that goal, thus ratifying the presence of the Caribbean island in the world's elite of the sport.

The Cuban men's volleyball will also try to qualify for the World Cup of Challengers in Portugal, where it will seek to qualify for the League of Nations in 2019.

It is worth mentioning that volleyball is one of the most likely disciplines to bring medals to Cuba at the upcoming regional meeting.
