Environmental Certificate for Las Coloradas Beach |

Havana.- Las Coloradas, in the tourist destination of Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens), received the Environmental Beach certificate granted by the Cuban Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA).
According to authorities from the sector, the acknowledgement took into account the work by the staff of the hotels Sol Cayo Coco, Pullman Cayo Coco and Meliá Cayo Coco, which are in that area.
In addition, the Environmental Beach certificate was granted to the Sol Cayo Coco, Pullman Cayo Coco and Iberostar Daiquiri hotels for implementing CITMA regulations correctly.
It is worth mentioning that five other hotels in Varadero have previously been considered Environmental Beaches, which requires coastal handling with integration of environmental and tourism management.
Las Coloradas was one of the areas that benefited from the dumping of sand in Jardines del Rey, where 800,000 cubic meters were deposited to minimize the impact of erosion.
