Cuba to Compete at World Junior Athletics Event |

Havana.- Cuba will be present at the Junior Athletics Championships in Tampere (Finland) with a delegation of 13 competitors.
The Cuban delegation includes Jordán Díaz, world gold medalist in triple jump in the cadet category.
Díaz set a record of 17.30 meters in the finals of that modality in the world championships in that category, held in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2017.
Cuba will also be represented by the world gold medalists Maikel Vidal (long jump), Silinda Morales (discus) and Amanda Almendáriz (hammer).
The list is completed by Lester Lescay, Yaritza de la Caridad Martínez, Miguel Davirac, Roxana Gómez, Isis Guerra, Davisleidys Velazco, Melany Matheus, Miguel Zamora and Adriana Rodríguez.
