Accommodation Capacities Increase in Trinidad
Monday, May 21, 2018

Havana.- The tourist destination Trinidad, in central Cuba, will have 1,000 new rooms in hotels by 2020.

In order to achieve that goal, two establishments will be completed in the city's historic heart, while another hotel will be enlarged on the Ancón Peninsula.

According to official statistics, taking into account the capacities of the center La Calesa, Trinidad currently has 1,157 hotel rooms and 2,900 private rooms.

Moreover, at the end of this year, the Pansea and Iznaga Palace hotels will be completed and will offer more than 90 new five-star rooms.

Recently, the groundbreaking movement began to build the Meliá Trinidad hotel, a 400-room establishment that will be inaugurated in two years.
