Cuban Archers to Compete for Medals in Barranquilla

Havana.- Cuba's main archers will compete for medals in the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla (Colombia).

Cuban sports officials noted that the highest chances to win medals are in the team tournament, with an emphasis on the men's team, which will be made up of Juan Carlos Stevens, Hugo Franco and Adrián Puentes, who are used to competing in top-level events.

Meanwhile, the women's team is headed by Elizabeth Rodriguez, currently the best Cuban archer.

Regarding the recurve bow modality, the mixed contest will be very strong, with representatives from Mexico, Venezuela, Guatemala and Colombia.
