National Conservation and Restoration Award to Be Granted |

Havana.- The National Council of Cultural Heritage of Cuba will soon grant the Monument Conservation and Restoration Award, which is bestowed to in the category of conservation for the safeguard and authenticity of a monument or heritage, which shows excellence in its care, management and use.
In addition, the award is also granted in the restoration category for the rigor and integral quality of the investment, project and execution of a work that entails the rescue of the values of the restored asset.
Likewise, in the re-adaptation category to a building for a contemporary use different from the original one, which preserves and enhances with creativity its qualities or a new insertion, respectful with its surroundings.
On this occasion, with the exception of Havana, Las Tunas, Ciego de Avila and Guantánamo, the rest of the country's provinces have submitted their nominations.
