Japanese Equipment for Cuban Healthcare Sector
Monday, April 16, 2018

Havana.- Cuba's healthcare system has benefited from a contribution from the Japanese group Jaika to two medical centers in the eastern province of Granma.

The Japanese company delivered equipment for pathological anatomy analysis to hospitals in the territory.

The donation includes nine microscopes, including six conventional ones, one trinocular and penta-ocular, analytical scales and a camera.

In addition, the upcoming arrival in Cuba of a paraffin dispenser and a microtome is expected, in addition to the aforementioned modules.

With these devices, the time for biopsy analysis is reduced, and cytological tests will be done in hospitals, without having to send the samples to other medical centers.
