Cuba's Best Gymnast Competes in German League |

Havana.- Cuba's best artistic gymnast, Manrique Larduet, took part in the German league of that sport.
Larduet joined the Siegerlander KV team, to which he contributed 18 units with his performances in five apparatuses, winning 37 to 33 against TG Saar.
The individual scores were this time the following: floor with 14,700 points; rings with 14,300; jump with 15,000; parallel bars with 14,600 and horizontal bar with 14,300.
Larduet's stay in Germany helped him to adjust to a strong competitive pace he had never had before and that allowed him to evaluate changes in his selections.
In addition, it allowed him to work in good conditions, with the most modern equipment and to share experiences with other major figures in that sport.
