Experts Evaluate Training Cuban Athletes in Japan
Monday, April 16, 2018

Havana.- Cuban sports authorities evaluated in Japan the possibility of installing training bases in that country, with a view to the Tokyo-2020 Olympic Games.

The exchange was part of a visit by the president of the Cuban Sports Institute (INDER), Antonio Becali, to that Asian nation.

In that regard, he highlighted the visits he made to emblematic facilities linked to the intentions of multiplying bilateral cooperation.

He also met with his counterpart, Yoshimasa Hayashi, also the minister of Education, Culture and Science and Technology, who reiterated his willingness to support the setting up of the Cuban Olympic delegation.

This training option favors Cuban athletes, since it guarantees their adaptation from the jetlag and allows them to use modern sports centers.
