Havana.- The company Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba will give Spring Galas by its students, as part of the vocational workshops that it organizes on a regular basis.
This initiative gives more than 1,000 students from the school and the workshops the opportunity to show the knowledge they have acquired during their training.
The heirs of the renowned dance group, directed since its foundation in 1991 by the dancer and choreographer Lizt Alfonso, will perform at Havana's National Theater.
Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba is a company characterized by the variety of genres and dance styles in its repertoire, a mix of elements of flamenco, ballet and contemporary dance.
The company's repertoire's includes choreographies of high aesthetic quality such as "Alas" (Wings) and "Amigas" (Friends), presented in national and foreign stages.
