Havana.- Cuba is a major option in the itinerary of Carnival Cruise Line, with 17 new departures on the ship Carnival Sensation in 2019.
The company said that the voyages will include a day in Havana, as well as stops in ports in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, including Grand Turk, Grand Cayman, Nassau, Half Moon Cay and Princess Cays.
The ship can carry 2,052 passengers and will start these routes in May.
Carnival said that passengers in Cuba will have at their disposal two dozen excursions on land to learn about aspects related to country's culture and monuments.
According to official statistics, Cuba received nearly 620,000 U.S. holidaymakers in in 2017, who traveled under the categories allowed by regulations established by US authorities.
