Havana.- Corporación Habanos S.A., specialized in the commercialization of Cuban cigars, reported sales worth 500 million dollars in 2017.
Company executives pointed out that this result represents a growth of 12 percent compared to the previous year (2016).
The company offers 27 brands of hand-rolled cigars containing high-quality tobacco, which provides an extensive commercial guarantee.
In addition, sales have continued to grow in Europe, with a 54-percent increase, as well as in the Americas (17 percent), Asia-Pacific (15 percent), and Africa and the Middle East (14 percent).
In terms of markets, Spain, France, China, Germany, Cuba, Switzerland, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Canada stand out.
