Meliá Group with Greater presence in Vietnam
Monday, February 5, 2018

Hanoi.- The Spanish group Meliá Hotels International will execute a strategy to expand its presence in Vietnam, in order to take advantage of the nation's tourist potential.

The chain has already signed agreements to run four new hotels, with which it will start up operations in first-line destinations in the country, including Ho Chi Minh City and Halong Bay.

This way, the Spanish company will administer ten hotels in the Vietnamese market, where it expects to consolidate its Innside by Meliá and Meliá Hotels and Resorts brands.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the Meliá Central Saigon Hotel will start up operating in 2019, while the Central Sainshama Innside Hotel will open in June 2018 with 72 rooms. The Innside Saigon Mariamman Hotel is scheduled for inauguration in 2020.

In addition, the Halong Innside Hotel is expected to open in 2019, offering 251 rooms and close to the Dragon Park, the largest theme park in Southeast Asia.
