Havana.- Facilities in Villa San José del Lago, in the central Cuban province of Sancti Spiritus, have been remodeled to provide improved services to guests.
The establishment, which belongs to the group Islazul, was severely damaged by Hurricane Irma, which led to the execution of an extensive rehabilitation program.
In that regard, all the interior and exterior areas were repaired, and some 3,000 timber and fruit trees were planted to replace the destroyed vegetation.
Four new rooms were built, thus increasing the villa's rooms to 78, as well as an amphitheater and new signs were placed on the establishment's premises.
The works also included new pergolas in the vicinity of the pools and lakes, painting of the areas and reconstruction of the perimeter fence.
