Havana.- The Cuban financial system promotes the use of advanced technology to improve the services offered by banking institutions.
In that regard, banks are working on the development of the IT infrastructure, connectivity, data centers, high availability and backup, as well as the creation of new applications.
In addition, the expansion of digital payment channels is being planned, such as sale terminals, ATMs, payment gateway (electronic commerce), and mobile, telephone and remote banking.
Through these tools, services such as cash withdrawal, transfers, payments of telephone, electricity and water bills, as well as balance inquiries and key change are offered.
Mobile banking is also being tested, with advantages for both clients and financial institutions, due to its easy access, immediacy, reliability, security and time saving.
