World Tourism Reported Solid Growth in 2017 |

Madrid.- The world tourism industry reported 1.322 million international holidaymakers in 2017, accounting for an interannual increase of 7 percent.
According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), in the case of European and African destinations, tourism grew 8 percent compared to 2016.
The UNWTO noted that in the case of Asia and the Pacific, tourism grew 6 percent, followed by the Middle East (5 percent) and the Americas (3 percent).
According to predictions, that growing trend will range from 4 to 5 percent in 2018.
In that regard, the UNWTO noted that tourism will grow 3.5-4.5 percent in Europe and the Americas, 5-7 percent in Africa, and 5-6 percent in Asia-Pacific.
