Havana.- Cultural options have gained ground in Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens), as part of a strategy aimed at guaranteeing holidaymakers' entertainment.
The design of that kind of option benefits extrahotels services, events in direct contact with nature and children's activities.
The resort's cultural agenda includes the holding of the Jardines del Rey Carnival in March, which will consist of floats' parades and performances by dance groups and theater companies on the streets.
Other events are the peasants' parties at Sitio La Güira, the Havana Cigar Night at the Gaviota Commercial Center and alternative performances by singer songwriters, orchestras and variety shows.
Cuban musical groups that will participate in the Piña Colada Festival will also perform in Jardines del Rey.
