New Encanto Hotel in Cuba |

Havana.- The Cuban brand Encanto (E) Hotels will administer the establishment La Calesa, in the city of Trinidad, in the central province of Sancti Spiritus.
The 12-room hotel started up operations in late 2017, although its official inauguration took place this month.
Investments totaled 1.3 million pesos to remodeled a Spanish-colonial building.
La Calesa refers to that kind of horse-drawn transportation that was used in Cuban cities like Trinidad several centuries ago and it is part of investments made in the tourism sector over the past few years.
As part of the reconstruction works, a second floor was added to the building. The furniture was made by local artisans and includes artworks from the project Between Threads, Wings and Brushes, led by the artist Yudit Vidal.
