Foreign Delegates at Specialized Medical Forum |

Havana.- The Calixto Garcia Hospital, an emblematic medical institution in the Cuban capital, will host an international convention to celebrate its 122nd anniversary.
The event will bring together some 1,600 medical experts from the country, as well as guest professors from Canada, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Germany.
Other experts will come from Venezuela, Timor Leste, Belize, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guyana, Honduras, China and Haiti, among other nations.
The forum's agenda will deal with such topics as trauma, head and neck
surgeries, general surgery, spinal cord and extremities, the care of seriously ill patients, chronic diseases, metabolism and infectious diseases.
Other topics for debate will be aging, medical technology, natural and traditional medicine, health management, medical teaching, and imaging, pathological and lab diagnosis.
