Cuban Experts Make Major Contributions to Pediatrics |

Havana.- Pediatrics in Cuba's healthcare system is supported by a specialized publication that was founded 90 years ago.
The "Revista Cubana de Pediatría" (Cuban Magazine of Pediatrics) was first published in January 1929 under the direction of Professors Angel Arturo Aballí Arellano and Félix Hurtado Galtés, two prominent Cuban physicians.
On that occasion, the magazine was published under the name of "Boletín de la Sociedad Cubana de Pediatría" (Bulletin of the Cuban Society of Pediatrics), but its name was changed to "Revista Cubana de Pediatría" in 1946.
For those interested in consulting the magazine, the collection "34 Años de la Revista Cubana de Pediatría" for the 1960-1994 period is available on digital support at the National Medical Library.
Generally, original articles and scientific works, as well as clinical cases, contributions by foreign authors and materials translated from other languages, are published in the magazine.
