Millions of Dollars Invested in Guatemala to Promote Tourism |

Guatemala.- The Guatemalan Tourism Institute (INGUAT) reported that about 12 million dollars will be invested to promote the country's leisure industry.
According to experts, nine million dollars will be used to publicize Guatemala's tourist destinations worldwide.
Three million dollars will be allocated to promote domestic tourism.
The nationwide campaigns will focus on seasons like summer, Holy Week, mid- and end-year holidays, long weekends, gastronomy, adventure and nature.
Last year, the multimedia Guatemala was launched as a guide for domestic and international holidaymakers interested in the country's regions, customs and tourist sites.
