Casa de las Américas Has a Busy Agenda |

Havana.- The Havana-based cultural institution Casa de las Américas is preparing a busy agenda in 2018, including the Literary Award that the center grants every year.
At the same time, the institution is launching books and holding roundtable discussions, panels and debates about literature.
On this occasion, the contest covers such genres as theater, essays on artistic-literary issues, Brazilian literature (non-fiction books written in Portuguese) and Caribbean literature in English or Creole.
In addition, the 14th edition of the Casa de las Américas Musicology Award will deal with texts on musical historiography, interpretation and critical explanation of musical creation.
Moreover, foreign experts will participate in the 10th edition of the Latin American and Caribbean Theater Season, known as Mayo Teatral.
