New Investments by Turkish Airline Pegasus
Monday, January 1, 2018

Istanbul.- The Turkish low-cost company Pegasus Airlines ordered 25 planes from the European aircraft maker Airbus.

The request is worth 3.175 billion dollars at catalogue price and involves the Airbus A321neo model.

The transaction complements two previous operations to acquire 18 A321neo and 57 A320neo planes, thus increasing to 100 the number of A320 planes ordered by Pegasus.

The A321 planes can carry 240 passengers and their autonomy reaches up to 7,400 kilometers.

According to experts, the neo variant is equipped with more efficient engines and are more aerodynamic, thus saving large amounts of fuel.
