Havana.- The computer system Imagis, designed by the Medical Biophysics Center, is gaining ground in Cuba's healthcare sector.
The software transmits, stores and processes medical images, thus having a positive impact on people.
The objective is to install the system in all Cuban hospital to facilitate the exchange, visualization and analysis of medical images.
The relaunch of Imagis involves a dozen hospitals in Santiago de Cuba, 22 in the rest of the eastern region and five major hospitals in Havana.
Computers with Imagis installed are available to benefit such services as neurology, imaging and urology, among others.
