Havana.- Cuba moved down in the FIFA international ranking, to the 180th place, the lowest position since 1993.
The latest update of the world soccer ranking places the Cuban men's team in the abovementioned position, in addition to being in the 25th place of 35 in the North, Central American and Caribbean Confederation (CONCACAF).
Experts recalled that Cuba's best position was 46th in 2006.
Germany remains on top for the fourth consecutive month in a ranking that has Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, France and Chile among the top ten countries.
The CONCACAF ranking is headed by Mexico (16th in the world), followed by the United States (24th) and Costa Rica (26th).
