Cuba to Host International Puppet Workshop |

Havana.- The western Cuban province of Matanzas will host the 13th edition of the International Puppet Workshop in April 2018.
According to organizers, puppeteers from eight countries have confirmed participation in the event, to be held under the slogan "A party without reigns for imagination".
So far, representatives from Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina and Spain, in addition to Cuba, will attend the meeting.
The program will consist of exhibitions, concerts, tributes and galas, and the Hermanos Camejo and Pepe Carril Distinction will be granted for the second time.
The award is an acknowledgement of the life work of major puppeteers in the country.
