Havana.- The members of Compañía Havana, which is attached to the National Circus of Cuba, performed for Pope Francis at the Nervi Hall in the Vatican.
Jugglers, dances and tightrope walkers captivated the guests at the general audience due to their professionalism and training at the Cuban Circus School.
Pope Francis thanked the troupe for their performance at his General Audience at the Paulo VI Classroom in the Vatican.
According to the Supreme Pontiff, circus artists are artisans of parties, of wonder, of the beautiful.
Compañía Havana, made up of more than 40 members, will also perform in Rome and five other Italian cities until January 28, at the CirCuba big top.
