Cuban Professor Wins National Artistic Teaching Award |

Havana.- The 2017 National Artistic Teaching Award was granted to the prominent professor and researcher Adelaida de Juan Seiler.
The jury took into consideration the professor's work for over six decades and as a founder of the Art Criticism Workshop at the Faculty of Arts and Letters at the University of Havana.
She was also a juror at the Latin America Engraving Contest and won the Art Biographic Criticism Award in 1964, among other acknowledgements.
De Juan thanked the jury for the award, which she described as a very noble moment.
The National Artistic Teaching Award was first granted in 1997 and was established to acknowledge the work of professors who educate the new generations of Cuban artists.
