Improved Medical Facilities in Villa Clara |

Havana.- Healthcare authorities in central Villa Clara province are working to improve working conditions in medical facilities.
From January to date, 131 family doctor's offices and four maternal homes were remodeled to guarantee good medical care to local people.
In addition, construction works allowed certifying 17 of 26 elderly houses in the province to meet the demand from senior citizens.
Repair works at the Ernesto Guevara Heart Center allowed remodeling three inpatients' wards, the surgical wing and the hemodynamics room.
Other projects included the hemodialysis department at the Maria del Carmen Sosaya Hospital in Caibarien, and the emergency unit at the Jose Luis Miranda Children's Hospital.
