Cuban Experts Assess Impact of Heberprot-P on Health |

Havana- Cuban experts evaluated the impact of Heberprot-P on health, making emphasis on patients suffering from diabetic foot ulcers.
The exchange involved experts in angiology and vascular surgery, health promoters and medical personnel who participate in the Program for Integral Attention to Diabetic Patients.
According to official statistics, more than 270,000 people all over the world have benefited from the administration of Heberprot-P, which reduces the risks of amputation.
So far, the medication has been registered in 23 countries, while it has been administered successfully to some 70,000 patients in Cuba.
The treatment with Heberprot-P in Cuba has considerably reduced the number of amputations due to complex diabetic foot ulcers.
The medication stimulates granulation progressively and reduces the period of cicatrization and the risks of infection.
