New Rules in Force in Cuba's State Corporate Sector |

Havana.- Cuban authorities have adopted new rules that will govern in the state corporate sector, whose companies will have more autonomy to operate.
The measure aims to strengthen the sector's efficiency and create well-organized enterprises in tune with the update of the country's economic model.
That way, the system is mainly made up of higher organizations of entrepreneurial management (OSDE, in Spanish), companies and grassroots units.
In addition, the OSDEs are organized in groups or unions, according to the organizational and technical characteristics of the companies of which they are composed.
Management focuses on strategic matters like fulfilling the objectives, evaluation and the approval of plans, social targets and activities like research and development to create new products and services.
