Cuba and India Boost Medical Collaboration

Havana.- Authorities from Cuba and India signed a memorandum of understanding to boost bilateral collaboration in the field of medicine.

The project envisages, among other elements, training and exchange of experiences and the acquisition of pharmaceutical products.

According to officials from the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, the deal will allow expanding medical cooperation between the two countries and promoting technological transfer.

The agreement establishes the exchange and training of physicians and health professionals, the acquisition of equipment and pharmaceutical products and the promotion of opportunities.

The experts noted that this initiative acknowledges Cuba's achievements in the field of medicine, as well as India's contribution at the international level.
