Cuba Boosts Extrahotel Recreational Options
Monday, December 4, 2017

Havana.- Cuba's tourism sector is promoting business options for new recreational and adventure programs, due to the need to expand extrahotel activities.

In that context, the company Palmares S.A. is executing eight investment projects under the modality of service administration with financing.

That portfolio includes the construction of two aquatic parks, one in Varadero Beach (Cuba's major coastal resort) and the other one in Havana.

Other projects include the construction of nature and adventure parks, one in Canasi (community of Santa Cruz del Norte, in Mayabeque province) and the other one in the Bay of Naranjo (Holguin).

The company also plan to install new technologies and restore the Plaza America Complex and the Josone Park, both in Varadero, and the entertainment facilities at the Comodoro Hotel, in Havana.
