Cuba's Potential for Cruise Tourism Highlighted

Havana.- Cuba stands out in the Caribbean due to its potential to develop cruise tourism, according to world-renowned shipping companies.

In that regard, Havana hosted the meeting of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and the Florida and Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA).

The event brought together representatives of the shipping companies American Cruise Line, Virgin Voyager, Carnival Corporation and Pic, Holland American Line, Carnival Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruises Linea Holgings, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Club Cruises, as well as Silversea Cruises, Celestyal Cruises and Disney Cruises Line.

At present, four of cruise companies operate in Cuba. They are Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (RCCL), Norwegian Cruise Line Holding (NCLH) and Pearl Seas LLP.
