Havana.- Banco Metropolitano, which is part of Cuba's financial system, is working to develop new services to facilitate the clients' operations.
In that regard, the Mobile Bank is one of the new services incorporated into the Transfermovil application, which allows clients to consult their balance and latest operations using a magnetic card.
In addition, they can also check and pay basic services bills like electricity, water and telephone, and make transfers between card-supported accounts.
Metropolitano en Linea is another tool that allows clients using the Internet to obtain real-time information on accounts and to make transactions such as transfers or balance checks.
The bank has installed recycling ATM machines that allow the holders of magnetic cards issues by Banco Metropolitano and Banco de Credito y Comercio (Bandec) to make cash deposits in their accounts.
